As part of our 2011 Rate Increase, we were allowed to recover the increased expenses for purchased water in a Pass-Through Rate. We have chosen to absorb these costs until now, but they have increased enough that we have been left with no other option except to pass it on to the customers.
This pertains to water rates only.
The rates will vary per 1000 gallons each month
This month rate will be $0.69/1000 gallons
Lakeshore Utility Company will continue to try and keep costs down for the customers.
